Established in 2011 by Agha Hira and Agha Noor, the two teenage sisters who were 22 and 18 at the time the company was created, have made great strides in such a short period of time. As a joint venture between well-known artist and entrepreneur Kiran Chaudhry and Resham Textile Industries Limited, a reputable textile company in Pakistan, Anaya by Kiran Chaudhry was launched in Lahore in 2016. Anaya was founded to meet a perceived need in the market for high-end clothing that was also reasonably priced. The concept was to offer Pakistani dresses in the women's ethnic-wear market that were both artistically sophisticated and incredibly affordable, effectively offering designer aesthetics at high street rates.
